SINOPSIS
Alex Pareja (Jacob Torres) is a writer who had his biggest success in his first novel, "The Heimlich maneuver" published in 2003. The novel was about the death of his girlfriend, Anna Venturi, who choked on a piece of chicken at a dinner while Alex asked marriage.
Since that first novel none of his work has returned to have the support or criticism or public, so 10 years later decided to adapt the novel to a movie.
The film narrates the process of adaptation of the book, problems, difficulties in production and especially the emotional consequences that the project has on it Alex Pareja, Lavinia his girlfriend (Alba Yañez) and everyone around him. The film alternates different stories: the day of the film adaptation, communication problems between Alex and Jordi Vilches, actor designated to interpret it; the pain of recreation of the passages in the book that his ex-girlfriend dies; tension that Alex suffers with his current partner, performance artist Lavinia G and finally the sexual tension with the lead actress of the film, Marta Torne.
